What you need to do before moving out

Remove all of your possessions. Disposal rates will apply for all remaining items.

Remove all garbage. If you have scheduled a large pick-up for items at the curb, proof of pick-up must be given or charges will apply.

Clean carpets (receipt required) and/or tile floors. As a reminder, most leases contain a provision stating carpets are required to be professionally cleaned. A receipt must be left for this in order to avoid a carpet cleaning charge.

Professional cleaned the entire home including ceiling fans, windowsills, blinds, appliances, etc.

Replace any missing or burned-out light bulbs, blinds and smoke detector batteries.

Fill nail holes. Holes larger than nail holes may require that you hire a licensed contractor to properly repair the damage prior to the Final Walk-Through evaluation.

Marks from crayons, markers, furniture, shoes, etc. will need to be completely removed. Repair and painting rates may apply. Touch-up painting is not permitted. If walls are in need of painting, you must paint the entire wall corner to corner. Only licensed and insured contractors are permitted to repaint walls.

Replace the A/C filter.

The lawn must be cut, trimmed, weeded and free of debris.

Leave all garage remotes, pool fobs, mailbox keys or additional keys to the property on the kitchen counter. There will be a charge of $100/key for keys, pool flob/key, mailbox key not being returned.
