Our History Our founders Leon and Norma Jean Whitfield have been in the rental business since 1962. They built/managed their rental properties with family values and affordability in mind since the beginning. Growing up in the south during the depression they know times can be tough and people have to fight through it. Their first mobile home park was in Clayton County, Georgia and saw it prosper until they decided to buy this area of land in Loganville, Georgia with the idea in mind to build a community for families, young couples, retirees, and single parents. They started in the early 1980's with the mobile home park and later on built the apartment complex behind the park. They called this new place Walton Planned Community.
Today,Walton Planned Community today is a family owned business, and we focus on the same principles of affordability and family values instilled by Leon and Norma Jean. We've grown by acquiring rental homes to rent , and we have commercial buildings we lease out as well, and we're still focused on our tenants needs to serve them best. So come on by our office, say hello, and become our next tenant.
Thanks, From Our Staff at Walton Planned Community
