Osborne Park and Lost Nation Sports Park

Seconds away is Osborne Park, a lakefront park located on the shores of Lake Erie.  Here you'll find Osborne Pool which has some of Lake County's tallest water slides as well as tennis courts, football and soccer fields, and a pavilion with grills.  It's also a great place to catch the sunset over the Great Lake!

At Lost Nation Sports Park you'll find indoor/ outdoor soccer fields, indoor batting cages and basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a bar and restaurant.

Water Works Park and Family Aquatic Center

There is something for everyone at Water Works!  In the Aquatic Center, relax on the lazy river, shoot down the drop or flume slides, swim laps, or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful zero-depth pool in one of our rentable poolside cabanas!  In the Park, you can walk or bike along the river, play on the playground, and enjoy spotting wildlife.

Lake Erie and Lake Metroparks

There are many lakefront and riverside parks just minutes away from Great Lakes Place:  Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve, Headlands Beach State Park, Chagrin River Park, and Osborne Park.  Enjoy hikes along the shoreline or through the forests, experience wildlife, and pause for a breath of fresh air in these beautiful green spaces.

Gorge Metro Park

Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking and more in the Gorge Metro Park along the Cuyahoga River.  Hike the Gorge Trail to view the Mary Campbell's Cave, or follow the Glen's Trail right into the south end of Downtown Cuyahoga Falls.

Downtown Willoughby

The City of Willoughby has much to offer!  Summer Concert Series, Willoughby Arts Fest, outdoor market and movie nights - just to name a few events!  Take a stroll down Erie St. where you'll find boutiques, antiques, galleries, coffee shops, fine dining and bars.  There's something for everyone in this lovely historic town!

Downtown Cuyahoga Falls

Only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride away, Downtown Cuyahoga Falls provides shopping and dining experiences for all hours of the day, as well as festivals and other social activities throughout the year.

Mentor Avenue is one of Ohio's most saturated retail markets and features small and large department stores as well as Great Lakes Mall with stores such as Dicks Sporting Goods and Dillards as well as a newly renovated movie theater.
