ONE Property Management is a locally owned and operated Spokane business since 2013, founded and managed by investor Melissa Murphy. With over 15 years of expertise in finance and real estate, Melissa and her property manager, Julie Shenyer and finance expert Angela Petersen has grown ONE Property Management organically -- through referrals and word of mouth -- to serve over 135 clients in the local area.

At ONE Property Management, we specialize in providing comprehensive real estate services for both residential and commercial properties, including Short Term Rentals (STRs). Our services include property inspections and maintenance, tenant screening, rent collection, leasing services, evictions when necessary, legal advice pertaining to rental contracts and related documents, as well as management of HOA regulations.

Our team believe that communication is key to successful relationships between tenants and landlords; thus we strive to provide timely responses to inquiries from all parties involved in the rental process. We value transparency with our clients at all times – providing detailed financial reports regarding their property’s status at regular intervals or upon request.

Melissa Murphy

With a strong understanding of the Pacific Northwest and a vision for its future, Melissa Murphy has emerged as a shining star in the Inland Northwest real estate community. Consistently ranked among the top agents in the city for the past decade, Murphy has forged a reputation based on market knowledge and superior client representation.

A Spokane native, Melissa graduated from Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2003, and, in 2012 received her MBA from her alma mater. During her tenure as a top agent, Melissa has listed and sold over 1,000 properties throughout Spokane and Coeur d'Alene ranging from high end estates to raw land and investment property throughout the region.

Melissa has been a predominant player in the world of real estate by evolving as the market has. Her brokerage, Prime Real Estate Group, offers unique, market-tested strategies for real estate success. She has developed a barometer of listing performance, strategy for negotiation and dedication to her work that is apparent to her clients who, time and time again, refer her services to their families and friends. Prime has grown into a very prominent player in the local market with over 30 brokers who share Melissa's passion for customer service. Additionally, Melissa owns a full service property management company, ONE Property Management with seasoned expert Julie Shenyer. ONE actively manages 135 doors and specializes in single family and small multi-family properties.

Personally, Melissa has proven a leader in her community as well. She has served as the president of the National Association of Women Business Owners (2014), and on the board of Women Helping Women Fund, YWCA and Habitat for Humanity. Melissa craves summer and spending time at the lake, golfing, snow skiing and loves Gonzaga Basketball.

Melissa is married to her husband Justin and enjoys spending time with their four children, Ava, Leo, Zoe, and Cora.

Julie Shenyer

Julie Shenyer is a highly-skilled real estate professional with over seven years of experience in the industry. She first obtained her real estate license in 2013 and quickly moved on to become a Property Manager in 2014. As a Manager at One Property Management, she specializes in single family and small multi-family properties, actively working with Investors and currently managing 135 doors.

In addition to her impressive credentials, Julie is also an active member of both the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and the Landlord Association (LLA). Through these organizations, she continues to stay up-to-date on all things related to property management and real estate law, ensuring that she can best serve her clients’ interests.

She is passionate about helping property owners get the most out of their investments, ensuring tenant satisfaction and promoting positive relations between owners and renters. With her drive and enthusiasm, Julie strives to be a leader in real estate management by leveraging her expertise to provide excellent service to her clients.

Angela Petersen

Angela Petersen is a dedicated professional with over 16 years of experience in the finance and accounting fields. She graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Law and Accounting, and soon after began her career in lending/finance in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2011, she moved to the Pacific Northwest where she continued to work in Accounting for various Construction/Real Estate Development firms.

In 2014, Angela joined Prime Real Estate and One Property Management as the CFO. Using the expertise she’d developed over the years, Angela was able to effectively streamline processes, improve efficiency and accuracy across all departments. Her keen eye for detail has made her an invaluable asset to Prime Real Estate and One Property Management.

With her diverse background combined with a deep understanding of both law and accounting principles, Angela is committed to providing well-rounded support that helps ensure both legal compliance as well as financial success for her clients. When she isn’t crunching numbers, Angela can be found exploring the outdoors with her husband in their trailer or hosting dinner parties at her house for friends and family.

Elizabeth Merry

Elizabeth Merry was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. With a passion for the Inland NW, she is a graduate from WSU with a B.A. in Psychology, she loves working with people and is currently the Vice President of the Davis Lake Grange and a member of the Spokane Rotary Club.

In the last three years she has immersed herself in managing personal real estate investment portfolios for her peers, growing each portfolio to maximize ROI. In 2022 she accepted a Property Management position with One Property Management. She strives at customer service; marketing and project management. Her expertise and knowledge of the Inland NW is a great benefit when searching for your next rental to call home or managing your investment property.
