About Us

Moyer Management started very small and still is small today. Starting as a 33W10 PFC Moyer (E-3) in the army in 2008 I bought my first property a single family home in Copperas Cove Texas (Ft. Hood) and so started my property portfolio. Now my wife and I have 10 total units:

1 Unit in Copperas Cove, Texas (Ft. Hood)

4 Units in Fayetteville, North Carolina (Ft. Bragg)

4 Units in Killen, Texas (Ft. Hood)

1 Unit in Bel Air, Maryland (Aberdeen Proving Ground)

At the basic level I am a husband and father, a DoD contractor, a physical investor / entrepreneur, and an education supporter. I am seeking to expand upon my existing experiences and relationships by representing what I am involved in and seeking the input of the greater community.

Husband and Father

I am married to April Moyer and we have one child Autumn Moyer. Also living with us is our 2 cats Hot Pepper and Rosie. We focus on doing fun things around the house, local outings like Sabino Canyon / Ramsey Canyon hikes, and saving for great international vacations. Charity Work

Throughout my life I have directly contributed to several charities and I have served on several charity boards. I am now actively involved in the Stillwell’s Learning Foundation, and the IEEE. In addition, while deployed to Afghanistan I founded and funded a small nonprofit called FreeForCharity.org

Free for Charity or FFC for short has a simple mission with broad implications.

Reduce costs and increase revenues for nonprofits; putting that money back into their charitable mission where it belongs.

This charity for charities seeks to replace as many functions as possible that current nonprofits pay for to for-profit companies with free or at cost work from our campus, on site projects, or partnerships with other entities.

DoD Contractor

Since leaving the US Army as a 33W (35T) I have worked for several great contracting companies. My services have focused primarily on information technology support of military intelligence organizations. I am currently employed by Sotera Defense Solutions as the DCGS-A Integration Contract (DAI) Senior Systems Engineer / IT Project Manager.

Education Supporter

I started late into education. When getting out of the Army I did not think that I ‘needed’ a college education. Times have changed for me. I have now invested in myself through both technical certifications and formal education.

For formal education, I hold several degrees including AS-ET (CC), BS-IT (WGU), MBA-ITM (WGU), GC-PM (UMUC), and I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree DBA-ITM with Capella University estimating completion of my dissertation late 2017.

Physical Investor / Entrepreneur

Taking an active role in investing for the future is to me a critical part of anyone’s life. Investing to me means more than just stocks and bonds stashed away in a 401K. Taking a physical approach to investing I hold many unique assets above and beyond stocks and bonds.
